    Rayleigh Cricket Club hosted an Under 9 Kwik Cricket Festival for teams from Basildon, Benfleet, Hadleigh, Leigh, Orsett, Rayleigh and Southend. Each side played three games of 8 overs a side.     Our second of the debut teams started their Last Man Stand campaign of with a 39 run win over ‘The Village People’ last night (02/06/15) Batting first Basildon CC posted 171 all out with Liam Rouse making a very impressive 92 runs of 48 balls. In reply The Village People managed 132-7, with Jordan Stevens making 64 runs not out.
