    Hadleigh and Thundersley cricket club became South Essex Indoor Champions last night (Sunday) following a twelve-run win at the Chelmsford indoor centre. This was quite an achievement, as their opponents, Belhus, were last year’s National champions.     Another great game in the Basildon Last Man Stand league took place last night, 8th June. GoogleyBox played HODS and came out on top with a 74 run victory. Batting first GoogleyBox posted an impressive 168-8 after 20 overs. Rhys Neil took 2-9 off his 4 overs. Josh Gridley scored a big hitting 53 and Dan Compton a well-made 62.

    This year there was a change to the fixture structure for the District games. The County had requested we play all 4 district games in the first two weeks of the summer holidays.
